Payroll Transformation Lead Las Vegas, Nevada, United States Apply for this job Payroll Transformation Lead W2 Contract 6+ Months, Possible Convert to FTE Remote (U.S.) with 30% travel to Las Vegas, NV $75-$90/hour Full-Time We're looking for an experienced Payroll Transformation Lead to help assess, redesign, and modernize our payroll function while leading the payroll workstream for our transition to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and ADP. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who combines deep U.S. payroll expertise with payroll transformation and systems implementation experience. You'll work cross-functionally to build a more accurate, compliant, automated, and scalable payroll operation. What You'll Do Lead an end-to-end assessment of payroll processes, systems, controls, integrations, compliance practices, staffing, and service delivery. Develop and execute a payroll transformation roadmap focused on accuracy, compliance, controls, scalability, automation, and employee experience. Redesign payroll processes to simplify workflows, reduce manual work, strengthen controls, and improve scalability. Lead the payroll workstream for the transition to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and ADP , serving as the primary payroll subject matter expert. Partner with HRIS, Finance, Accounting, Benefits, Tax, IT, Oracle, ADP, and implementation partners to define future-state payroll processes, integrations, data flows, and controls. Provide hands-on leadership across configuration, data conversion, integration development, testing, parallel payrolls, cutover, go-live, and stabilization. Lead payroll testing, reconciliation, and validation across earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, garnishments, net pay, costing, GL activity, and employee data. Identify opportunities to automate payroll processes, validations, reconciliations, reporting, and exception management. Develop sustainable payroll procedures, controls, documentation, metrics, and processes, while transferring knowledge to the internal payroll team. Serve as the senior escalation point for complex payroll issues and provide hands-on support to ensure employees continue to be paid accurately and on time throughout the transformation. What We're Looking For 7+ years of progressive payroll experience with deep knowledge of U.S. multi-state payroll operations and compliance. Experience assessing, redesigning, and transforming payroll functions. Demonstrated experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and ADP payroll solutions. Experience leading payroll conversions, testing, parallel payrolls, cutover, and stabilization. Strong knowledge of payroll tax, accounting, controls, integrations, reconciliations, and data. Experience building scalable and automated payroll processes. Strong project leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management skills. Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on and independently drive complex initiatives forward. TCWGlobal is an equal opportunity employer.
