Job Description Principal Responsibilities:

Manage and ensure the efficient operation of the payroll function and department, including the generation, distribution, and reporting of the biweekly and special incentive payrolls. Responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient distribution of the payroll for

Evaluate, develop, recommend and implement policies and procedures designed to improve business processes within the department and organization. Manage and administer all payroll tax transmission to ADP Tax Services within the prescribed deadlines, respond to any tax inquiries, coordinate with the Corporate Tax Department to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory reporting requirements. Oversee the preparation and reconciliation of W-2 documents. Reconcile the Payroll Bank account and various payroll related GL accounts, identify and research variances and supply backup for all account balances Resolve employee concerns regarding wage payments, taxation, deductions and unique requests Develop / coordinate the preparation, review, and proper analysis of required reports such as monthly hours and wages, annual profit sharing / DC / 401(k) by the transaction processing completion dates. in annual Payroll related audits by TIMET and third parties. Manage the administration and transactional processing involved with relocation and other company fringe benefits Manage the use of reports and tools to foster data integrity and customer satisfaction Ensure timely communication of changes to payroll policies, procedures, and regulations. Develop, implement, and conduct end user training courses for Payroll staff to include creation and maintenance of organization specific user guides. Maintain employee payroll records and information to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and to provide beneficial and timely management reporting. Provide expertise and support to the locations through management and operation of the Payroll Department. Responsible for coordination of system testing as applicable for enhancement/system upgrades or configuration changes: these system changes are within

system as well the interface systems for third parties. Coordination of audit deadlines, schedules and processes to include SOX compliance. Provide for the personal and professional development of the payroll team. Monitor interaction between the payroll team and their internal and external customers.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

SAP Payroll experience preferred Knowledge of current government and tax regulations. Ability to interpret union contracts to determine payroll requirements to ensure accurate payments.as defined in contract language. Strong numerical background with knowledge of accounting principles. Strong written and oral skills, with demonstrated ability to present findings to management in a succinct and accurate manner. Ability to manage multiple assignments. Proficient with Excel and MS Word. ADP experience a plus

Education/Experience Requirements:

BS Degree in a business field. Minimum 4 years managerial experience. Minimum 10 years of payroll experience Ability to analyze problems and recommend viable solutions. Ability to work with PR-related systems to achieve desired results. Excellent interpersonal skills Other duties as assigned.
