We are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Manager to join our management team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our organization.
Position Summary:
The HR & Payroll Manager is a hands-on, dual-role position, that is responsible for weekly payroll processing as well as leading and enhancing all human resources functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources best practices, risk management, compensation, benefits, and payroll taxes, and can effectively balance both disciplines. The role demands a leader that is detail oriented and process driven, enjoys autonomy, and takes ownership of the role. Essential Functions and Duties:
- Manage employee recruitment, onboarding, retention, and offboarding initiatives.
- Oversee comprehensive employee benefit and compensation plans that attract and retain top talent.
- Develop, implement, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives and conform to employment laws and regulations.
- Manage employee evaluation process to drive engagement and shape career paths.
- Consult with Operations Manager to identify training needs and implement programs.
- Compile, summarize, review, and complete weekly payroll processing, including certified payroll reports.
- Track and initiate benefit plan changes and updates for employees and manage annual open enrollment.
- Collaborate with Vice President to drive organizational change through technology and process improvements.
Required Education/Experience/Skills/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or related field (CPP, PHR, and/or SHRM-CP a plus).
- Five or more years of progressive experience in accounting, human resources, or business administration (preferably in a construction environment).
- Proficient with MS Office suite, ERP systems, and
HRIS/HRMS
systems (Sage 300 CRE, Sage Intacct, ProCore, ADP Workforce Now a plus).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay:
$80,000.00
