Healthcare preferred Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Payroll to oversee payroll operations for 4,000+ employees in a complex, high-volume environment. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end high-volume, biweekly payroll operations. Manage and develop the payroll team. Ensure payroll tax, NY, and multi-state compliance. Oversee reconciliations, reporting, controls, and process improvements. Partner with HR, Finance, and senior leadership. Support payroll system enhancements and integrations. Requirements 8+ years of payroll experience , including leadership. Experience managing payroll for 4,000+ employees . Strong NY and multi-state payroll knowledge. Advanced Excel skills. Healthcare experience preferred. Union payroll experience is a major plus. Experience with ADP, Workday, Paylocity, Paycom, or similar systems is a plus.
