Accepting Candidates About the role This opportunity is ideal for a payroll leader with experience managing global payroll operations in multi-state and multi-entity environments. The role will support payroll governance, compliance, reporting, and operational excellence initiatives while partnering closely with cross-functional business teams. Candidates should possess deep Workday Payroll expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and experience supporting international payroll operations and vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end global payroll operations across U.S. multi-state, multi-entity, and international payroll environments Ensure payroll processing accuracy, compliance, timeliness, and overall operational efficiency Oversee bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payroll activities while maintaining strong governance and controls Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, HR, and audit teams to support payroll compliance and SOX requirements Coordinate and manage relationships with outsourced payroll vendors and external service providers Support payroll activities related to equity, expatriate, shadow payroll, and global mobility programs Lead payroll audit support activities including controls, documentation, reconciliations, and remediation efforts Manage year-end payroll processing including tax filings, reporting, and jurisdictional compliance activities Utilize Workday Payroll and related systems to maintain payroll data integrity, reporting, and analytics Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives across payroll operations Provide guidance and mentorship to payroll team members while promoting a high-quality, compliance-focused environment Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support organizational initiatives, process changes, and global expansion efforts Advise leadership on payroll operations, compliance risks, best practices, and operational improvements Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive payroll experience with strong exposure to global payroll operations
  • Hands-on expertise with Workday Payroll and payroll systems administration
  • Experience managing multi-state and multi-entity U.S. payroll environments
  • Knowledge of expatriate payroll, shadow payroll, and global mobility processes
  • Experience working with outsourced payroll vendors and third-party payroll providers
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, controls, and SOX-related requirements
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience in payroll reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hybrid work environment Compensation (MA Pay Transparency): Estimated hourly range: $80-$85/hr (W-2) Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
