Job Description:
Job Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for sampling, inspecting, and approving raw materials for use in manufacturing, ensuring compliance with quality standards and GMP requirements. This role supports manufacturing operations through line clearance, product changeovers, and accurate documentation while maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Inspect, sample, and release raw materials, including documentation and labeling Submit samples for QC testing and generate control labels per specifications Perform line clearance and product changeover walkthroughs in cleanroom environments Review inspection and release documentation for accuracy and approval Conduct retain inspections and maintain proper records in compliance with GDP Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and assist with training team members Support procedure reviews and updates, including Raw Material Specifications Maintain training compliance and participate in assigned projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues Qualifications Associate's degree in life sciences or related field (Bachelor's preferred) 1 year of experience in a cGMP, QA, or QC environment Experience working in a cleanroom setting preferred Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
