Job Description
We are looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll and HR administration operations for a complex, multi-entity environment in Dallas. This Contract position will lead a team, coordinate with external payroll partners, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll services. The role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can balance day-to-day execution with process improvement and strong service delivery standards.

Interim Payroll Manager:
- Direct and coach the payroll and HR administration function, fostering accountability, collaboration, and strong performance across the team.
- Manage end-to-end payroll activities for a large employee population, ensuring pay is processed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination with third-party payroll providers and other service partners to maintain reliable and responsive support.
- Oversee timekeeping, HR administrative records, reporting processes, and data integrity to support smooth operations and informed decision-making.
- Advise internal stakeholders on escalated payroll issues, including tax questions, garnishments, cross-border considerations, and other complex pay matters.
- Monitor operational metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall service quality across payroll processes.
- Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and external agencies on audits, compliance activities, and projects that affect payroll and HR administration.
- Contribute to broader business initiatives such as acquisitions, team expansion, and system-related integration efforts while maintaining continuity of payroll operations.
