Job Description
The Payroll professional is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on schedule while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable payroll laws. This role partners with HR and Accounting to maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and support reporting and audits. This is a 3 month temp-to-perm position. ResponsibilitiesProcess regular and off-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employeesReview and validate timesheets, pay rates, deductions, and adjustmentsMaintain employee payroll records, earnings, and deduction dataReconcile payroll registers to the general ledger and investigate variancesCalculate and process bonuses, commissions, retro pay, and adjustmentsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsPrepare and file payroll tax payments and related reportsRespond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issuesSupport audits, internal reporting, and payroll documentationPartner with HR on new hires, terminations, benefits, and payroll changes
