YOUR ROLE IN THE FAMILY
Administer bi-weekly payroll processing activities including payroll validation, audit procedures, earnings uploads, payroll balancing, and payroll submission. Review payroll registers and pre-processing reports to ensure employee payments are accurate and compliant. Process off-cycle payrolls, final pay requirements, compensation adjustments, bonuses, reimbursements, and retroactive payments. Maintain supporting documentation and payroll records for audit and accounting purposes. Manage employee timekeeping records within SAP, including review of worked hours, leave requests, PTO balances, and attendance exceptions. Conduct routine audits of employee timecards, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with managers. Run time evaluation processes to update accrued leave balances and ensure employees are compensated accurately based on approved time records. Serve as the primary contact for employee and manager payroll inquiries. Support direct deposit changes, tax withholding updates, PTO balance requests, payroll deductions, reimbursements, and general payroll questions. Review and approve employee self-service payroll requests and ensure payroll changes are accurately reflected in payroll systems. Administer wage garnishment orders and maintain supporting records. Ensure payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Generate monthly payroll-related reports including vacation accrual reports, payroll distribution reports, and retirement-related reporting. Participate in payroll reconciliations and support accounting month-end and quarter-end activities. Support SAP and Paylocity payroll operations by maintaining accurate employee data and troubleshooting payroll or timekeeping issues. Partner with Human Resources, Information Technology, and payroll vendors to resolve system issues affecting payroll processing. Participate in training initiatives, process improvements, and documentation updates to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN OUR FAMILY?
Required:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree. Three or more years of payroll administration, payroll analyst, or related payroll experience. Experience processing hourly and salaried payroll. Experience working with payroll compliance requirements, garnishments, and employee records. Experience supporting payroll audits and reconciliations preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong understanding of payroll principles, payroll taxation, and wage-hour regulations. Working knowledge of SAP and payroll systems such as Paylocity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet critical payroll deadlines. Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate across departments.
