Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all employees while maintaining compliance with applicable labor laws and tax regulations. Your expertise in payroll systems and accounting software will be essential in managing confidential information, processing payroll data, and supporting benefits administration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization by delivering precise payroll services with efficiency and integrity. Duties Manage and process payroll using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or other supported payroll platforms Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies during payroll processing Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accurate financial reporting Maintain employee records related to compensation, benefits, time & attendance, and tax documentation Handle payroll tax calculations, filings, and reporting in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and inquiries from employees Collaborate with HRIS teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data across human resources systems and software such as QuickBooks or other accounting tools Skills Extensive experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, PeopleSoft or Ceridian Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, tax law, and payroll tax regulations Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), accounting software (QuickBooks), and financial concepts related to payroll management Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and data entry accuracy Familiarity with time & attendance systems and HRIS platforms for seamless data integration Solid understanding of double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, debits & credits for accurate financial recordkeeping Join us as a Payroll Administrator to play a pivotal role in maintaining our organization's financial integrity while supporting our valued team members.
