Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Certified Payroll Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Concord, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-driven payroll professional with strong certified payroll knowledge, construction payroll experience, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-focused environment. The Certified Payroll Clerk will support weekly payroll processing, certified payroll compliance, reporting, employee documentation, garnishments, VOEs, and audit support. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule while maintaining complete payroll records and supporting documentation. Prepare, review, and process weekly certified payroll reports for accuracy and compliance. Enter and maintain certified payroll data in LCPtracker, DIR, OCPS, and LNI. Access and maintain apprentice certificates through DIR and support certified payroll compliance requirements. Process Verifications of Employment, employee garnishments, deductions, and related documentation. Assist with monthly payroll reports, compliance reporting, benefit audits, and other payroll-related projects as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits Pay range:

$26.00 to $31.00 per hour.
