Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexibility available)
Salary:
$35-$40/hr. DOE About the Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations across a large, multi-state organization. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and leadership teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while serving as the primary administrator for ADP Workforce Now. Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule. Administer ADP Workforce Now, including Payroll, HRIS, Time & Attendance, Tax Compliance, and Reporting modules. Audit payroll and timekeeping data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage garnishments, tax levies, employment verifications, and payroll adjustments. Respond to employee and management payroll-related inquiries. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. Support HR projects and continuous process improvement initiatives. Create payroll and HR reports as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of payroll experience. 5+ years of Human Resources experience. Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and wage/hour laws. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred:
ADP Workforce Now experience. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). PHR or SHRM certification.
