Do you enjoy keeping things organized and helping a team stay on track? Our growing automotive group is looking for a friendly and professional Payroll Assistant to join the TMAG team. You do not need to know every turn in the road, but previous payroll or accounting experience is required. Experience in the automotive dealership industry is a strong plus. What You'll Do Assist with processing accurate and timely payroll for multiple dealerships or departments Review time cards, payroll changes, deductions, commissions, bonuses, and employee information Help maintain payroll records and confidential employee files Research and correct payroll discrepancies Support payroll reporting, audits, and month-end processes Respond to employee payroll questions in a helpful and professional manner Work closely with accounting, human resources, managers, and dealership leadership Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed What We're Looking For Previous payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or related office experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organization and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential information with care Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Clear and friendly communication skills Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office , especially Excel Experience with DealerBuilt dealership accounting systems is preferred Automotive dealership experience is preferred, but not required Why Join Our Team?
