Pay:
$30–$35/hour Overview of the Payroll Specialist Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to oversee accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting payroll compliance and employee inquiries. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking to join a stable organization with a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities for the
Payroll Specialist:
Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Process new hires, terminations, wage changes, and employee deductions Review and reconcile payroll reports, timecards, and benefit deductions Coordinate payroll-related tax filings and year-end reporting, including W-2s Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies Support benefits administration and payroll audits as needed Assist with workers' compensation reporting and leave tracking Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee data and payroll records Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information Preferred Qualifications for the
Payroll Specialist:
2+ years of payroll processing experience required Knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and wage and hour compliance Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel #LI-LM1 #
