In this vital role, you will manage payroll operations, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and support HR and accounting functions. Your expertise will help streamline payroll workflows, enhance data accuracy, and uphold the integrity of our financial and human resources systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment where precision and efficiency are paramount. Responsibilities Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now Manage data entry for employee hours, benefits, deductions, tax information, and other payroll-related details with meticulous attention to detail Reconcile payroll accounts through general ledger accounting practices including journal entries, account reconciliation, debits & credits, and double entry bookkeeping Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations by staying current on tax laws and reporting requirements Collaborate with HRIS systems to update employee records and process benefits administration efficiently Support accounts payable and receivable processes related to payroll expenses and reimbursements Prepare detailed reports on payroll activities for internal review and external audits while ensuring data security and confidentiality Experience Proven experience in payroll management within a corporate accounting or finance environment ADP Workforce Now experience Strong understanding of financial concepts including general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, taxes, benefits administration, and governmental accounting standards Knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks or similar platforms is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to perform data entry accurately in high-volume settings using 10 key typing skills Experience working with human resources systems (HRIS) and benefits programs in a fast-paced environment Ability to analyze financial data effectively using analysis skills to identify discrepancies or issues in payroll processing Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices or governmental accounting standards is a plus Join us as a Payroll Specialist if you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail makes a real difference!
