Job Description
Company Overview Lecangs LLC is a dynamic 3PL subsidiary of Loctek, specializing in comprehensive eCommerce warehousing and logistics services. With a global footprint of 21 warehouses—including eight in the U.S.—Lecangs efficiently manages over 7 million square feet of storage space, serving more than 800 eCommerce clients worldwide. Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, and maintain accurate financial records. Your expertise will help us deliver seamless payroll services while safeguarding confidential information and supporting our company's financial integrity. Job Responsibilities 1. US Payroll Processing Manage and process payroll for US employees on a monthly or biweekly basis, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and payment. Handle employee salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, allowances, deductions, paid time off, and other payroll-related items. Reconcile payroll data with employee timekeeping, attendance, and HRIS records, and promptly identify and resolve discrepancies. Ensure payroll calculations and deductions are accurate and compliant with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. 2. Payroll Tax & Compliance Manage US federal, state, and local payroll tax-related activities and ensure compliance with applicable tax and employment regulations. Support annual tax reporting and related documentation, including W-2 and 1099 processes. Monitor changes in US payroll, wage, and employment regulations and assist in updating and optimizing payroll processes accordingly. 3. Employee Payroll & Benefits Support Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding paychecks, pay statements, tax withholdings, payroll deductions, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and other employee benefits, and assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and related processes. Maintain accurate employee payroll, benefits, and HRIS data; process employee onboarding/offboarding, compensation changes, and benefits updates; coordinate with insurance carriers, benefits providers, and payroll vendors; ensure data accuracy and confidentiality; and promptly resolve payroll and benefits-related issues. 4. Payroll Systems, Reporting & Process Management Manage daily operations of payroll and HRIS systems, including data maintenance, payroll processing, benefits deductions, and data reconciliation, ensuring employee payroll and benefits information is accurate, complete, and up to date. Prepare regular payroll, benefits, and labor cost reports; support Finance and HR teams with expense reconciliation, budgeting, and cost analysis; and continuously optimize related processes to improve operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. At least 3 years of experience in US payroll and/or employee benefits administration. Solid understanding of US payroll processes, payroll taxes, wage regulations, and employee benefits. Hands-on experience with US employee benefits, including medical insurance, dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and other employee benefit programs. Experience with payroll/HRIS systems such as ADP, Paychex, Gusto, UKG, Workday, or similar platforms is preferred. Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to clearly and accurately explain payroll and benefits information to employees. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle confidential employee, compensation, and benefits information appropriately. Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, insurance brokers, and internal teams. Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and handle sensitive payroll and benefits matters professionally. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi-state payroll and benefits administration. CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) certification. Experience with 401(k) administration, health insurance administration, and annual benefits enrollment. Experience with HRIS/payroll system implementation or process optimization. Experience in e-commerce, logistics, warehousing, or other fast-growing businesses. Experience working in a multinational or US-China cross-border organization.
