Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Certified Payroll Specialist for one of our customers located in Roseville, California. This position is 100% in-office! The role will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our construction projects while adhering to all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process certified payroll reports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Verify and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain payroll records and employee information in accordance with company policies and procedures. Coordinate with project managers and HR to gather necessary payroll information. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) would be a plus Construction Industry experience required LCP Tracker experience Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook & Excel - Intermediate/Advanced) In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and reporting requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills
