Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Specialist for an exciting contract opportunities supporting critical year-end payroll projects. What You'll Do:

+ Support year-end payroll processing and related projects

+ Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting

+ Prepare and validate W-2 data and year-end payroll records

+ Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

+ Review payroll tax filings and assist with corrections as needed

+ Partner with HR, finance, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies

+ Maintain accuracy of employee payroll records in payroll systems

+ Support process improvements and cleanup efforts tied to year-end deadlines

Requirements What We're Looking For:

+ Experience in payroll processing, preferably with year-end responsibilities

+ Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax reporting, and reconciliations

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

+ Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, or QuickBooks. Based on internal documentation, common software used in finance and accounting environments includes Microsoft D365, Oracle NetSuite, PowerBI, QuickBooks, SAP, SQL, and Workday

+ Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

+ CPP designation is a plus, but not required Why Contract with
