PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

— $21-$26/HR Lakeland Automall | Lakeland, Florida Lakeland Automall is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our growing team. This is an important role responsible for processing weekly payroll for a large and growing workforce , including hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees. We're looking for someone who understands full-cycle payroll, works accurately under deadlines, protects confidential information, and can adapt as our organization continues to grow. Automotive dealership payroll experience and Paycor experience are strong pluses. What You'll Do Prepare, calculate, and process weekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies Work with department managers to verify payroll information before processing Partner with the HR Manager on new hires, employee changes, record maintenance, and terminations Process and maintain garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other payroll deductions Conduct monthly audits of insurance invoices and employee deductions Maintain accurate pay rates, tax information, benefits, contact information, and employee records Track and maintain employee leave balances Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll regulations Assist with additional HR and payroll responsibilities as the company continues to grow What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of full-cycle payroll experience HR experience required High school diploma or equivalent Experience processing payroll for a large workforce preferred Automotive dealership payroll experience is a plus Paycor experience is a strong plus Solid understanding of federal and state payroll laws Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize deadlines and work independently Professional discretion when handling confidential employee information Payroll or HR certification is a plus Compensation & Benefits $21-$26 per hour, based on experience Lakeland Automall offers: Paid holidays Paid vacation Health insurance benefits Company-paid life insurance 401(k) with company match Employee discounts on vehicle purchases, service, and parts Join Lakeland Automall If you're an experienced payroll professional looking for an opportunity with a growing automotive organization , we'd like to hear from you. WHAT YOU'LL DO

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 2 years of full-cycle payroll experience HR experience required Automotive dealership payroll experience is a plus Paycor experience is a strong plus Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong organizational and analytical skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Professionalism and discretion with confidential information
