Job Description

Part-Time Payroll Specialist Location:
Alpharetta, GA Schedule:
Part-Time (approximately 20-25 hours per week) Position Summary Autotality is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing and payroll administration for our growing organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll while providing administrative support for payroll, benefits, and other business operations. The ideal candidate has experience processing payroll, enjoys working with numbers, maintains a high level of accuracy, and can handle confidential information with professionalism. Essential ResponsibilitiesPayroll Administration Process bi-weekly payroll through Paychex. Review payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Process new payroll deductions, direct deposits, garnishments, and payroll changes. Prepare payroll reports and assist with payroll reconciliations. Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve payroll-related issues. Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and payroll audits. Benefits & HR Support Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee payroll deductions. Reconcile monthly benefit invoices. Maintain employee payroll and personnel records. Prepare employment verifications and other payroll-related documentation. Provide administrative support for HR and special projects as assigned. Administrative Support Administer company credit card program. Coordinate company printing, marketing materials, and promotional items. Administer the company's Vonage phone system. Assist with general office and administrative projects as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience. Experience with Paychex or similar payroll system preferred. Knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and payroll best practices. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting benefits administration. Experience with HRIS systems. Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
