Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lenexa, Kansas. In this role, you will handle full-cycle payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This position requires an individual with strong organizational skills to manage complex reporting and manual processes effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of full-cycle payroll for a workforce of over 500 employees.
• Generate and review detailed reports for prevailing wage projects to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Oversee manual payroll processes, ensuring timekeeping data is accurately reflected in the payroll system.
• Follow up with employees and managers to resolve discrepancies in time entries.
• Utilize Ceridian Dayforce to process payroll efficiently and accurately.
• Coordinate with the timekeeping system (Q360) to address and resolve data integration challenges.
• Ensure payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Provide exceptional support to employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
