This role supports a workforce of roughly 600 employees and requires strong knowledge of bi-weekly payroll administration across both hourly and salaried populations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing payroll from start to finish, maintaining compliance, and resolving payroll discrepancies with care and precision.

Responsibilities:

Manage the complete bi-weekly payroll process for an employee population of approximately 600 staff members. Review timesheets, earnings, deductions, and pay adjustments to confirm payroll data is complete and accurate before processing. Administer payroll for both hourly and salaried employees while applying appropriate wage and hour practices. Process multi-state payroll activities in alignment with applicable tax and regulatory requirements. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee questions, and data inconsistencies in a timely manner. Maintain accurate payroll records and support audit readiness through organized documentation and reporting. Work within payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now to enter, validate, and update payroll information. Partner with internal stakeholders to help ensure payroll deadlines are met and payroll execution remains compliant and efficient. Proven experience handling full-cycle payroll processing in a detail-focused environment. Background managing payroll for organizations with more than 500 employees. Knowledge of multi-state payroll practices, including compliance and payroll tax considerations. Hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now or a comparable payroll platform. Strong understanding of payroll procedures for both hourly and salaried employee groups. High attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct payroll errors before final processing. Ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines, and maintain confidentiality with sensitive payroll data.
