Job Description

The Payroll & Grants Specialist is responsible for the administration of Central Ozarks Medical Center grants including accounting, reporting, and financial compliance with local, state, and Federal regulatory agencies. The Payroll & Grants Manager processes and coordinates the functions of payroll distribution, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and general computer/data processing related to grants.
QUALIFICATIONS
An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field. An advanced degree would be viewed positively. Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance or accounting with advanced knowledge of federal grant reporting. Extensive knowledge of accounting and office software packages is required. Must have good people skills with ability to relate to diverse groups of people and people on all levels. Ability to travel and provide own transportation and have valid Missouri driver's license. Excellent listening, oral and written skills; Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Must be able to type with speed and accuracy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Grants Administration:
budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial audits.
Payroll Administration:
payroll allocations.
Compliance:
grant financial reports, purchasing, HRSA site visit (grant lead). All other duties as requested by the
CFO. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
