You'll support the payroll needs of our member clients by preparing, verifying, and processing payroll data accurately and on time, and by serving as a knowledgeable, friendly contact for client questions. You'll receive hands-on training and close support from the Payroll team while you learn our payroll systems, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Respond to member client requests and questions by phone and email Enter, update, and maintain client payroll data in preparation for payroll runs and quarterly and annual work Calculate, verify, and post payroll and accounting transactions accurately Compile, sort, and analyze payroll, accounting, and HR data Investigate and resolve discrepancies, and raise errors, questions, and client concerns with the Payroll Supervisor Protect the security and confidentiality of client and employee information
Experience Preferred:
1-2 years of related office experience, such as bookkeeping or accounting Strong accuracy and attention to detail when working with numbers Comfort with computers, spreadsheets, and databases (payroll or accounting software experience is a plus, and so is the ability to learn new systems quickly) Clear, professional communication and strong customer service skills, both internal and external Good time management and the ability to meet payroll deadlines A team-oriented attitude and respect for confidentiality Why work for
