Woodside Manor, a warm and community-focused 44-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking a dedicated Payroll Clerk & Staffing Assistant to join our team! As part of Hurlbut Care Communities—a trusted group of 11 family-owned and operated skilled nursing facilities in the greater Rochester area—we offer a collaborative environment where you truly feel like family.
Schedule:
Full-Time, approximately 32-40 hours a week, Monday through Friday (with occasional weekends). Come build a rewarding career with us!What You'll Do Payroll & Benefits:
Drive accurate payroll processing and guide staff through benefits administration, training, and enrollment in standard and auxiliary programs.Full Life-Cycle Onboarding:
Lead recruiting, screening, and orienting new candidates from day one.Staff Scheduling:
Maintain and assist with nursing staff schedules to ensure seamless, top-quality resident care.HR & Labor Relations:
Consult with department heads on labor laws, policies, and disciplinary processes.Employee Engagement:
Boost morale by spearheading staff events and engagement initiatives that celebrate our incredible team.What We're Looking For Experience:
At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on benefits management and payroll.Education:
An Associate's degree or higher in Human Resource Management (or equivalent professional experience).Knowledge Base:
Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws.The Right Heart:
A positive, compassionate attitude toward the elderly and individuals living with dementia.Job Type:
