Job Description
Review timekeeping records, audit payroll data, and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll submission. Based on general knowledge.
Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, deductions, and direct deposit updates. Based on general knowledge.
Ensure accurate withholding for taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other payroll-related deductions. Based on general knowledge.
Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding pay, deductions, timekeeping, and payroll procedures. Based on general knowledge.
Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and payroll-related journal entries as needed. Based on general knowledge.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activities, including preparation of payroll reports and audit support. Based on general knowledge.
Partner with Human Resources, Finance, and other internal departments to ensure payroll data is complete and accurate. Based on general knowledge.
Help maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations and internal controls. Based on general knowledge.
