Higher-paying commission-based appointments based on skill, experience, and equipment Overview Detail Dynasty is looking for an experienced ceramic coating and paint correction specialist to join our growing mobile detailing team as a 1099 independent contractor . This is not an entry-level position . You must already have hands-on experience preparing vehicles for ceramic coatings, polishing paint, correcting defects, and applying professional-grade coatings correctly. This position pays more than our standard detailing appointments because of the higher skill level required. Contractors who have their own professional polishing, coating, and detailing equipment may qualify for even higher payouts. We are looking for someone who can confidently handle higher-end vehicles and deliver professional results without constant supervision. Responsibilities Perform professional ceramic coating installations Properly wash, decontaminate, clay, and prepare vehicle paint before coating Perform one-step and multi-step paint corrections when required Remove or reduce swirl marks, oxidation, water spots, and light scratches Use DA/rotary polishers safely and correctly Select appropriate pads, compounds, and polishes for different paint conditions Perform panel-prep/IPA wipe-downs before coating installation Apply ceramic coatings evenly and properly manage flash times Inspect coatings for high spots and correct them before delivery Apply ceramic protection to wheels, glass, trim, or interior surfaces when included Take detailed before-and-after photos Maintain a clean and professional work environment Communicate professionally with customers Explain coating care and maintenance to customers when needed Protect customer vehicles from unnecessary damage throughout the service Required Experience Previous paid or professional ceramic coating and paint correction experience is required. You should already be comfortable with: Ceramic coating preparation and application Paint decontamination Clay bar or synthetic clay treatment Iron removal Machine polishing One-step paint enhancement Multi-stage paint correction DA polishers Compounds and finishing polishes Pad selection Paint inspection using proper lighting Removing swirls, haze, oxidation, and light defects Panel prep before ceramic coating Identifying and removing ceramic coating high spots Proper curing and aftercare procedures Applicants who only have basic wash/interior detailing experience will not be considered for this position. Equipment Having your own professional equipment is strongly preferred.

Compensation This is a commission-based 1099 independent contractor position . Ceramic coating and paint correction appointments are higher-value services, so qualified specialists will receive higher earning opportunities than standard detailing contractors .
