Job Description
Description + Process payroll data accurately and on schedule, including hours worked, deductions, taxes, and other earnings adjustments. + Review timekeeping records and verify payroll information for completeness and accuracy. + Maintain payroll records and employee data in accordance with company policies and confidentiality requirements. + Assist with payroll-related questions from employees and help resolve discrepancies + Support payroll tax, garnishment, and direct deposit processing as needed. + Prepare payroll reports and assist with recordkeeping for audits and compliance purposes. + Coordinate with human resources, accounting, and management to ensure accurate payroll processing. + Help ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws, payroll regulations, and internal procedures. Requirements + Experience in payroll, accounting support, data entry, or clerical administration preferred. + Basic understanding of payroll procedures, timekeeping, deductions, and tax withholdings. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll or timekeeping systems. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing confidential employee information. + Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of wage and hour regulations and payroll compliance practices is a plus.
