Description Our client, a large and growing organization in the construction industry, is seeking a Certified Payroll Specialist to support a rapidly expanding certified payroll and compliance function. This position will sit onsite in Liberty Township, OH. This role was created due to increased reporting demands, growth in prevailing wage projects, and a substantial increase in weekly certified payroll volume. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with certified payroll, prevailing wage, and construction payroll experience who enjoys working in a compliance-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports to support prevailing wage and compliance requirements Extract payroll data from payroll and ERP systems and upload information into compliance tracking platforms Investigate and resolve payroll compliance notices, discrepancies, and reporting issues Manage large volumes of payroll data, ensuring accuracy across multiple reporting submissions Maintain compliance documentation, wage deduction records, and tracking spreadsheets Assist with prevailing wage administration and ongoing certified payroll reporting requirementsQualifications:
At least 2 years of certified payroll, prevailing wage, or construction payroll experience Working knowledge of certified payroll compliance and reporting requirements Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation and reconciliation Experience working with large data sets while maintaining a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and meet reporting deadlines Strong organizational skills and attention to detailPay Details:
