Job Description

Commercial Contractor is needing candidates for an highly skilled Accounting Coordinator position.
Hours:
7:30 - 5:00 1 hr. lunch 11:30-12:30 Monday - Thursday Hours on Friday 7:30-3:00 with an hour lunch It is a must that employees be 5 minutes early in order to be on time. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Process timesheets, subcontractors in excel spreadsheets (excel a must) payroll, some benefits, Accounts payable invoices and paying them. Job Overview We are looking for an individual to assist with payroll and accounts payable. The Accounting Assistant/HR Coordinator will report to the company Controller and will assist her with accounting/office administration.

Duties Payroll/Benefits administration: Maintain employee files, prepare and process weekly payroll, administer group insurance program
Accounts Payable:
Invoice processing, statement reconciliation (vendor and credit card), payment processing maintain vendor files- W-9s and applicable COIs Assist in annual insurance audit Assist with general office administration: Office equipment, supplies, etc. Obtain and print documents for Senior Estimator Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Outlook) Data entry skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members across departments. Attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong understanding of confidentiality
