Job Description

Payroll Specialist Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team and manage high-volume payroll processing for approximately 700 employees across multiple departments.
Essential Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration Process weekly, bi-weekly, and/or semi-monthly payroll for approximately 700 employees using ADP. Review, audit, and validate payroll data including timekeeping records, deductions, garnishments, benefits, bonuses, commissions, and adjustments. Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Manage payroll-related inquiries and resolve employee payroll discrepancies in a timely manner. Process new hires, terminations, status changes, direct deposit updates, and tax changes within ADP. Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll reports as needed. Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing and audits. Coordinate with Finance and HR teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance. Qualifications 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a high-volume environment. Experience processing payroll for 500+ employees required; experience with 700+ employees preferred. Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar ADP platforms. Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and tax requirements. Understanding of HR processes, benefits administration, and employee records management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and reporting. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Experience supporting multi-state payroll processing. Familiarity with HRIS systems and timekeeping platforms.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per hour
