What You'll Do Process accurate regular and off-cycle payrolls across client accounts Maintain detailed payroll records Resolve payroll issues involving taxation, garnishments, multi-state payroll, retroactive adjustments, and regulatory requirements. Address employee payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and explain pay stubs, tax forms, and payroll policies. Advise clients on payroll matters, compliance considerations, and payroll best practices. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including payroll tax reporting, and year-end processing and stay updated on regulatory changes. Conduct payroll audits, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate with external auditors. Develop payroll procedures, documentation, and best practices that improve operational consistency. Lead payroll implementations, system conversions, and client transitions.
