Job Summary:
As a Relocation Payroll Specialist, you will support payroll activities related to global mobility and relocation programs. This role is responsible for monitoring relocation-related payroll, calculating gross-ups, performing reconciliations, and assisting with year-end reporting. The Payroll Specialist will maintain accurate transferee tax records and collaborate with third-party tax providers to ensure timely and accurate tax payments and reporting.
Essential Functions:
Conduct ongoing payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness Prepare detailed payroll reports and summaries tailored to client needs Support year-end processes, ensuring proper reporting of relocation expenses in payroll Maintain accurate transferee tax data, including taxable relocation benefits Track and process tax payments submitted by third-party tax providers Partner with internal teams and client payroll contacts to ensure timely and accurate data flow Ensure compliance with client-specific payroll and reporting standards Exemplify alignment with company core values Consistently demonstrate dependable attendance and timeliness completing all work responsibilities Collaborate effectively with team members and partners across the organization
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
Experience in payroll, relocation payroll, or tax reimbursement programs strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred Experience with payroll/financial systems (e.g., SAP, ADP, Workday) is a plus Skills /
Abilities:
Solid understanding of gross-up calculations, taxable relocations benefits and payroll reporting standards Advanced proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm and ten-key by touch Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detailed oriented, able to meet deadlines in a fast pace environment and ensure compliance and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to analyze and solve problems Strong aptitude for numerical data Strong analytical skills
