Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR & Payroll Assistant to join our team. The HR & Payroll Assistant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes, and providing assistance in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, payroll, and HR administration. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, people-oriented, and eager to grow in the HR field.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding. Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and HRIS systems with accuracy and confidentiality. Support payroll preparation, attendance, leave management, and benefits administration. Provide support in drafting HR documents such as contracts, offer letters, and policy communications. Handle employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist in organizing training sessions, performance evaluations, and employee engagement activities. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Coordinate with other departments to support HR initiatives and smooth organizational operations. Contribute to process improvements and support HR projects as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's is a plus). 1-2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative roles (fresh graduates with HR internships are encouraged to apply). Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the HR function.

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
