Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ADP Workforce Now Payroll Processing Consultant to join our client's team on a temp-to-hire basis . This role is ideal for a payroll professional with strong hands-on experience processing multi-state payroll in ADP Workforce Now, along with advanced Excel skills and a sharp eye for accuracy, compliance, and process improvement. This position will play a key role in supporting payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, maintaining compliance across multiple states, and helping improve payroll-related reporting and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now Manage multi-state payroll processing, including applicable tax, wage, and compliance requirements Bi-weekly pay for ~3k employees Review and audit payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Validate time and attendance data, deductions, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll inputs Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and tax-related issues Maintain payroll records and support payroll reporting needs Use Excel to analyze payroll data, reconcile reports, identify trends, and support audits Partner with HR, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations Assist with payroll process documentation, clean-up, and improvement initiatives Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activities as needed Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of payroll processing experience Strong, recent hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now Proven experience processing multi-state payroll Strong Exce l skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering, sorting, and reconciliations Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements across multiple states High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines effectively Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting CPP certification is a plus Experience supporting payroll process improvements or system optimization is a plus
Details:
1099 or C2C, pay is hourly and DOE Temp to hire possibility 40 hour/week, to start immediately
