Job Description

High Profile is partnering with our client to find an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Payroll Administrator to join their growing HR team. This role will oversee multi-state payroll processing, reconciliation, compliance, and employee support across multiple entities and locations. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. ResponsibilitiesProcess and audit weekly, semi-monthly, and interim payrolls across multiple entities and states. Process commissions, bonuses, direct deposits, benefits deductions, 401(k) contributions, and payroll adjustments. Maintain accurate employee payroll and benefits data in UKG/UltiPro. Reconcile timesheets, audit payroll data, and resolve discrepancies. Process tax levies, child support, garnishments, and other involuntary deductions. Complete payroll reconciliations, general ledger postings, and support month-end and year-end close. Partner with Accounting and HR on payroll and financial reporting. Respond to employee payroll questions and provide guidance on pay and deductions. Support new-hire payroll setup and maintain accurate documentation. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, systems, and workflows. Assist with system testing, upgrades, reporting, and special projects. Qualifications8+ years of multi-state payroll experience required. UKG/UltiPro experience strongly preferred. Bachelor s degree, payroll certification, or specialized payroll training preferred. Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing and compliance. Experience with JD Edwards or similar systems preferred. Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information. Self-directed, dependable, proactive, and team-oriented with a strong can-do attitude.
