Used Car Dealership Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Bilingual Payroll Clerk (English/Spanish) to join our used car dealership's accounting team. This position assists with weekly and biweekly payroll, including direct deposits, commissions, bonuses, and employee payroll records. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with numbers and Excel, and able to meet firm payroll deadlines. Confidentiality, accuracy, and reliability are essential. Responsibilities Collect, review, and verify employee timekeeping records. Process time sheets , overtime, vacation pay, and payroll deductions. Process weekly and biweekly payroll, including direct deposits. Collect commission sheets and bonus information, verify supporting documentation, and enter amounts into Excel. Review sales records to confirm commission and bonus calculations. Enter new employees and maintain accurate payroll information. Identify discrepancies and follow up promptly to resolve missing or incorrect information before payroll deadlines. Handle employee payroll questions professionally and maintain strict confidentiality. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accurate data-entry skills. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet payroll deadlines. Professional judgment when handling confidential employee and compensation information. High school diploma or equivalent. Payroll or accounting experience is a plus. Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
