Description We are looking for a Payroll Specialist on a contract basis, to support payroll processing for a multi-state company. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of payroll regulations, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working in high-volume payroll environments. Responsibilities

+ Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll

+ Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations

+ Review timekeeping records and payroll adjustments

+ Maintain employee payroll records and tax documentation

+ Process garnishments, deductions, and benefit withholdings

+ Respond to payroll-related inquiries

+ Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation Requirements Qualifications + 2+ years of payroll processing experience

+ Experience with ADP, Paycom, UKG, Workday, or similar payroll systems

+ Knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications

+ FPC or CPP certification a plus

+ Multi-state payroll experience preferred
