Part Time Payroll Specialist Soulence Tax and Accounting Pleasant Grove, UT Job Details Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Confidential information handling Payroll Full Job Description Our accounting firm is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. We are a family-oriented company that is focused on quality, building relationships, and having fun. We process payroll for over 200 clients in mutliple states throughout the US. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under strict deadlines, is detail-oriented, takes accountability seriously, works well in a self-managed enviornment, and is eager to learn and grow. This is a part time, flexible position. Expect between 15 and 30 hours per week. Possibility for full time position within the next year.

Responsibilities:

Collect and compile payroll data from clients through multiple platforms Manage and process payroll accurately and on time for assigned clients, ensuring compliance with varying state and federal regulations Communicate with clients over email, phone, and text messages Identify and resolve discrepancies Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Respond to payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies Collaborate with team members and incorporate feedback to improve accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience processing payroll Strong attention to detail Ability to meet strict daily deadlines Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and regulations Ability to balance multiple tasks with limited supervision Open to feedback and coaching, with a strong sense of accountability Capable of safeguarding sensitive or confidential informaiton

Trustworthy Preferred Qualities:

Experience with Gusto and/or Onpay software is a plus Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Good communicator, both written and verbal Experience managing multi-state payroll
