This position is ideal for an experienced banking professional who enjoys providing exceptional customer service, opening new accounts, and building strong client relationships.

$21.56•$29.11 per hour Position Summary The HOA Deposit Representative is responsible for opening and maintaining deposit accounts while delivering outstanding customer service to both new and existing commercial clients within the Homeowners Association (HOA) industry. This role supports account onboarding, ensures compliance with banking regulations, and assists with relationship management by identifying products and services that meet customer financial needs. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, enjoys working with customers over the phone, and has prior banking experience with new accounts. Essential Responsibilities Open new business accounts and maintain existing accounts according to established banking policies and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with account inquiries and banking solutions. Consult with customers to identify products and services that best meet their financial goals. Analyze and interpret HOA-related agreements to ensure proper account setup and contract compliance. Ensure compliance with applicable trust account regulations and banking requirements. Prepare and maintain accurate account documentation. Process Customer Identification Program (CIP) information accurately. Utilize ChexSystems and OFAC screening during the account opening process. Assist with onboarding new client relationships while supporting retention of existing accounts. Conduct follow-up with prospective and existing customers to strengthen business relationships. Participate in sales meetings, product training, and professional development opportunities. Maintain confidentiality while adhering to company policies and federal and state banking regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3-5 years of new accounts experience within a financial institution. Experience opening commercial or business accounts is preferred. Previous experience serving HOA or commercial banking clients is a plus. Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities. Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of banking regulations, account documentation, and compliance procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer and telephone. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and operating office equipment. Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
