Job Description

Job Summary A direct hire Banker opportunity is available in Walnut Creek, CA for an experienced banking professional with strong client service, teller, and new account opening experience. Depending on your background, you may be considered for a Client Service Representative II, Client Service Representative III, or Senior Client Service Representative level role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships, recommending banking products, supporting consumer and business accounts, and contributing to branch growth. The role offers a stable branch banking environment with supportive leadership, positive teamwork, ongoing client interaction, and opportunities to deepen your knowledge of banking products, compliance, and account services. Key Responsibilities
  • Open and maintain consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and applicable trust, estate, or complex business accounts based on level.
  • Interview and profile clients to understand financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
  • Cross-sell bank products, identify referral opportunities, and support branch profitability and business development goals.
  • Process teller transactions as needed while maintaining accurate documentation, approvals, uploads, and balancing standards.
  • Respond to client inquiries in person and by phone with professional, courteous, and solutions-focused service.
  • Follow all bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $20.00 to $31.90 per year, depending on experience and level.
  • Direct hire opportunity.
  • Minimum of 10 CRA volunteer hours per year.
Volunteer hours are typically scheduled during business hours, are compensable, and mileage is reimbursed.
