Broussard, LA Job Details 5 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Summary/objective This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by being well-versed in teller work and new accounts as well as handling transactions pertaining to loans, collections and/or exchanges. Serves as a new account representative and teller interchangeably on a regular basis. Essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Handles customer transactional needs such as processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing requests, credit card advances, money orders, and other forms of negotiable items Images proof work through branch capture machine to include reviewing work and making corrections Opens various new depository account products and services Works with customers to update existing deposit accounts Maintains a well-developed, working knowledge of products, services and processes offered Accurately utilizes equipment and remains knowledgeable of equipment functionality to perform role Completes documents for special requests such as direct deposit, wire transfers, stop payments, etc. May also provide assistance to lenders by pulling credit bureau checks, flood determinations, OFAC/Combined report from Horizon and creating customer profiles for new banking relationships within Horizon Competencies Clear and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to diagnose, resolve or escalate a critical situation Basic math and computer skills Ability to use multiple computer systems and applications Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously S upervisory responsibilities None Physical demands Standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 lbs. Travel required Some travel may be necessary as the need arises.
