Job Description

Job Overview Responsible for assisting existing customers with transactions via multiple venues (in-person, over the phone, web, etc.). Responsible for assisting new customers by determining what their financial needs are and best fit our products to their needs. Responsible for assisting customers with opening a variety of new account products in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Maintains and balances with the TCR (Teller Cash Recyclers) on a daily basis. Refers customers to correct department and personnel when regarding commercial and mortgage products. Responsibilities
  • Ability to perform cash handling functions on the front line to include handling, counting, and balancing on a daily basis
  • Assist customers with opening a variety of new account products in accordance with bank policies and procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of current procedures as well as a current product and services handbook
  • Assist in all Safe Deposit Box functions including controlling the entry and exit of customers and maintaining of accounts
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail
  • Provide notary services
  • Be a physical presence at the bank and have both regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform opening of personal and commercial accounts and cross selling of deposit products and services based on customer needs
  • Have an in-depth understanding of electronic banking products.
  • Open and maintain IRA and HSA products for new and existing customers as well as being a go-to person for information on those account types
  • Maintain adequate knowledge of commercial products to perform the sale of commercial products and services
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. Experience Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Windows and Internet applications
  • Ability to operate a 10-key calculator and other office equipment
  • Perform duties in compliance with policy, procedure and process
  • Knowledge of ATM operations
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, and a strong aptitude for problem solving
  • Ability to communicate professionally (orally, web-based and in writing)
  • High level of accuracy and timeliness as well as the ability to multi-task and organize priorities
  • Proven ability to cross sell bank products and services based on customer needs
  • Ability to deliver a high level of responsiveness (customer service) to internal customers

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
