Job Description
Primary Function:
Ensure the consistent delivery of bank products while providing exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with customers via the various methods they do so including but not limited to in-person, phone, email and chat functionality. Answering incoming telephone calls efficiently while transferring calls to other staff members as needed.
- Opening new checking, savings, IRA, HSA, certificate of deposit, and safe deposit box accounts while gathering all relevant customer information.
- Providing other products and services (debit cards, online banking, bill pay, mobile banking, wire transfers, stop payments, etc.) while referring potential borrowers to the loan department.
- Review daily reports. Ability to prioritize and respond based on deadlines with a sense of urgency.
- Managing a teller cash drawer, including accurate daily balancing.
- Working with the personal banking team to balance the vault, ATM, and various internal accounts, while completing all other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Assisting the Operations team with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No previous bank experience required, although 2 or more years of bank experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a pleasant, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
- Proficiency with standard office computer equipment and software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic and general math skills.
