Responsibilities Engage with customers to identify their financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services, including loans, savings accounts, and investment options. Process various banking transactions accurately, such as deposits, withdrawals, cash handling, and check processing, ensuring compliance with security protocols. Assist customers with loan origination processes by explaining options, gathering necessary documentation, and guiding them through application procedures. Manage customer relationships by providing outstanding service, upselling relevant banking products, and fostering long-term loyalty. Detect and prevent fraudulent activities by monitoring transactions for suspicious behavior and adhering to fraud prevention protocols. Support cash management activities including balancing cash drawers, handling debits & credits, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. Promote banking services through proactive sales efforts and relationship management strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and bank growth. Requirements Previous experience in financial sales or customer service within a banking or financial services environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of banking operations including cash handling, cashiering, loan processing, and basic math skills such as retail math and 10-key typing proficiency. Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency. Familiarity with financial software systems used for transaction processing and account management. Ability to detect potential fraud or suspicious activity using established protocols. Strong communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward relationship management and sales growth. Basic understanding of debits & credits, cash management procedures, and compliance standards related to banking operations. $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
