We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Sales and Loan Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service, appraising items, and handling transactions for pawn loans, buys, and sales. This full-time position is integral to our success, and we are looking for an individual who will help our business continue to grow! Our ideal employee is detail-oriented and capable of making excellent judgment while assisting their customers.
Sales and Loan Associate Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist with their needs in a friendly, professional, and empathetic manner. Evaluate and appraise a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and firearms. Negotiate purchase prices and loan amounts based on appraisal results. Process all transactions and manage inventory accurately using our POS system. Make daily phone calls to alert customers of their due dates, forfeit dates, and to thank new customers. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations. Maintain a clean and organized store. Assisting managers with day-to-day tasks. Assist with opening and closing duties. Taking initiative. Help maintain a professional and upbeat retail sales environment. Perform Range Safety Officer duties. Check customers into the range while following all safety procedures. Maintain range including monthly cleaning. Stock inventory including ammunition, accessories, general merchandise, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Customer service experience. Firearms Safety Experience. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a collaborative environment. Ability to work well under pressure in a fluid, fast-paced team environment. Must have a flexible schedule. We are open 10 am - 6pm Monday through Saturday. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Must be able to pass criminal background check, and qualify for a gun sellers number. Basic computer knowledge necessary. Must be 21 or older
