Horizons is looking for a HousingFinancial Wellness Counselor to help individuals and families build financial stability, prepare for homeownership, improve their credit, and navigate housing challenges. If you enjoy helping people solve problems and reach meaningful goals, this could be a great fit. No previous housing counseling experience required-we'll provide the training and support to help the right candidate become a HUD-certified Housing Counselor. What You'll Do Provide one-on-one counseling on homebuying, housing stability, foreclosure prevention, budgeting, and credit. Help clients improve credit, reduce debt, and prepare for successful homeownership. Develop individualized budgets and action plans, and connect clients to community resources. Experience in banking, lending, mortgage servicing, financial education, credit counseling, housing, or human services is especially valuable. An associate or bachelor's degree in a related field-or equivalent experience-is preferred. Already HUD-certified? We'd love to hear from you. If not, you'll be expected to earn your certification within four months of hire, with our support. Why Horizons? Instead of selling products or meeting sales quotas, you'll use your knowledge to help people make informed decisions and build lasting stability. Ready to help people achieve greater financial and housing stability? We'd love to hear from you.
