The Opportunity SPFG is seeking an experienced, licensed financial advisor. This role is designed for an advisor with established client relationships who is looking for a long-term professional home and values the advantages of an experienced team and structured service model. It is ideal for someone who wants to continue advising clients, developing relationships, and growing their business while relying on a dedicated support team to manage client service, administrative and operational responsibilities, and follow-through. Based in our Wichita office, you will serve as a visible representative of SPFG and a key driver of business development in the community. You will build and strengthen relationships with clients, prospective clients, professional partners, and local organizations while helping expand SPFG's presence throughout Wichita and the surrounding area. What You Will Do Lead discovery, planning, review, and decision-making conversations with clients. Develop and deliver financial strategies aligned with each client's goals, priorities, and changing circumstances. Advise clients through financial planning, investments, retirement income, risk management, and estate-planning considerations within the scope of your licenses and registrations. Maintain and deepen established client relationships through proactive communication and dependable follow-through. Grow your practice through referrals, professional relationships, and other self-sourced business development activities. Collaborate with the advisory and client support teams to coordinate recommendations, implementation, service requests, and ongoing client needs. Maintain accurate client records and complete required documentation in accordance with firm and regulatory standards. Use firm technology and workflows consistently to create an organized, responsive client experience. You appreciate a professional workplace where people work hard and still make room for good-hearted fun. Qualifications At least three years of experience serving as a financial advisor. Current Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, or equivalent securities and investment adviser registrations appropriate for the role. Established client relationships and a demonstrated ability to retain and grow client business. A regulatory history that meets the requirements of SPFG and its broker-dealer and registered investment adviser relationships. Strong interpersonal, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant advisory experience may be considered in place of preferred education. Compensation and Benefits This opportunity offers a distinctive compensation structure that may combine W-2 compensation for servicing firm client relationships with 1099 compensation for the advisor's existing and future self-sourced client relationships. Actual compensation will depend on the advisor's client relationships, production, responsibilities, and mix of W-2 and independent compensation.
