Director Salary:

$55 - $75 per hour Job Details - Our organization is seeking a dynamic, experienced Director of Finance to join our consulting team. This role will be a key player in the Manufacturing industry, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our client's business and driving the company's financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments. This is a high-impact role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong financial background and a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities:

Take the helm of the financial department, overseeing all activities and setting strategic goals. Conduct analysis of financial risks and market conditions. Prepare timely and detailed financial reports on a monthly and annual basis for senior management and stakeholders. Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Develop and manage the annual budget, providing forecasts and financial models. Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls. Drive the company's financial planning and strategy based on deep understanding of the company's business model and market conditions. Advise on cost-reduction and revenue-enhancement strategies and initiatives. Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA is strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably within the Manufacturing industry. Proven experience with financial processes and systems including month-end close, monthly reporting, financial statements, annual budget, and year-end close. Strong knowledge of corporate finance and measures of performance. In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices. An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships. Demonstrated strategic planning and business development skills. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software. Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
