Position Description - Associate Financial Advisor We are seeking motivated individuals who are beginning or in the early stages of their financial-advisory careers to join our growing team as Associate Financial Advisors. In this client-facing role, you will manage client relationships, collaborate with experienced advisors to deliver financial, estate, retirement planning and investment advice, and contribute to business-development activities. You will receive hands-on mentorship and assume increasing responsibility as you progress toward a Lead Advisor role. This is a salaried position aligned with our commitment to providing objective, conflict-free advice. Associate Financial Advisors are also eligible for an uncapped incentive compensation program, offering significant long-term income potential tied to performance, business growth, and client impact.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of the Series 65 Exam is required within 90 days of employment. Willingness to achieve the AWMA (Accredited Wealth Management Advisor) and AAMS (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) designations within your first 12 months of employment. 0-3 Years experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related client facing or financial services support role. Life, Accident & Health insurance license required within 6 months of hire. Proactive and results-driven, with the confidence to lead conversations and take the initiative to move client goals forward. Bachelor's degree required, preferable in Finance, Economics or Business Tech-savvy, comfortable conducting virtual meetings using Zoom, Teams, etc. Self-motivated to succeed through perseverance, resilience, and personal accountability. Solid foundation in financial, retirement, and investment concepts. Concise, confident, and engaging communication skills Highly detail-oriented with the critical thinking skills necessary to address multifaceted financial needs. Primary Responsibilities:
Manage assigned client relationships, providing proactive communication, responsive service, and a thorough understanding of each client's financial needs and goals. Prepare for, participate in, and increasingly lead client meetings, both in person and virtually. Collaborate with experienced advisors to develop and implement financial-planning, investment, and risk-management recommendations appropriate for each client. Review client portfolios and planning strategies to ensure continued alignment with their goals, risk tolerance, and financial circumstances. Support business development through referrals, networking, community involvement, educational events, and prospective-client follow-up. Maintain accurate client records, stay current on financial markets, relevant financial and planning developments, and collaborate with team members to deliver a consistently high-quality client experience.
